This workshop uses journal prompts, freewriting exercises, and our proprietary guided meditations to help you dig into your subconscious mind, release your fears, and start creating again from a place of pure authenticity. You'll also record your dreams each morning and explore any imagery or emotions they evoke in a process inspired by Jungian dreamwork. Included in the workshop are three meditations: Release the Fear, Blast Through Writer’s Block, and Flow State.
Uncover the stories you were meant to tell and then learn how to turn them into a screenplay written in your authentic voice.
When you finish the course, you will have

Script Feedback
Find out whether or not your script is connecting with your audience.
-
Everyone can benefit from feedback.
This business is about making an impression and we all need to know how our writing is coming across to an audience. That’s why we provide the judging scorecard to every script submitted to the competition.
And if you want more detailed coverage, we can help with that, too.
We’re screenwriters ourselves, so we know what it’s like to get notes that completely miss the mark of what our script was trying to do.
That’s why when you choose to get additional script coverage from us, we ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire to send along with your work. Do you want your script to be a hilarious and ridiculous broad comedy? Great, let us know. Or is your story more of a subtle satire? Also great! Just tell us.
We want to give you useful feedback that will bring you closer to your intended goal. Not just our ideas of ‘how we would do it.’
Check out the options below if you are interested in having us help you tell your story your way.Description text goes here

Self-guided Writing Retreats
Write your heart out in the Mojave desert.
Imagine a private sanctuary with endless views. Your only obligation — immerse yourself in your writing.
Choose the class and the length of your stay and we’ll provide you with a schedule, access to our creative visualization library, and a beautiful three bedroom house, along with optional catered meals, on site yoga classes, and sound baths.
And when you need to refill the creative well, we’ve got you covered. Hike among the boulders with access to trails right outside your front door. Revel in the desert sunsets. Get lost in the night sky.
These self-guided retreats take place in Pioneertown, California, home of the historic film set town where old Hollywood Westerns were shot in the 1940s and ‘50s. Two and half hours from LA, 30 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, a short walk from the iconic desert roadhouse, Pappy and Harriet’s.

The Method
The stories we tell connect us, they move us, and when they’re really special, they change us.
Those special stories, the ones that make us think and feel, the ones that leave an indelible mark on our hearts and souls, they don’t come from the same pool of generic setups and one-dimensional characters we’ve seen over and over again.
They come from you.
Or, at least, that’s what we believe here at Inspired. We believe that it’s only through showing who you are with your writing can you truly reach your audience in a meaningful way.
But how do you do that?
How do you separate the good ideas from the bad ones? How do you tap into that place where the magic happens? How do create with ease and flow instead of clenched teeth and fists?
We’ve both banged our heads on a lot of walls over the years, so when we finally found a method that worked for us, we wanted to share it with everyone.
So… here it is.
The Inspired Screenwriting Method. By exploring the connection between the head and the heart in the creative process, we have devised a process to help you use both to their greatest potential. We hope it benefits you as much as it has us.
